Dry Cleaner/Spotter Trainee

Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 2 PM Requirements: Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs without assistance Must have reliable transportation to get to work Must be willing to work in a high-temperature environment Must have excellent attention to detail Zero margin of error in following instructions Must be able to write, read, and speak fluently in English Must be legally able to work in the US Job Description: Sorting and inspecting garments and preparing them for dry cleaning and laundry Pre-spotting garments to remove stains Loading and operating dry cleaning and laundry machines Unloading and inspecting cleaned clothing Separating garments to be pressed according to the pressers Post-spotting garments that still contain stains after cleaning Dry cleaning and wet cleaning household items Daily cleaning of dry cleaning and laundry machines after use Keeping up with daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of dry cleaning equipment Disposing of waste material according to provided standards Training: Complete training will be provided to the selected candidate 15-day evaluation period 30-day probation period Company-paid professional training if willing to sign an employment contract with the company after 6 months of employment Salary: During 60-day probation: $600 per week After successful completion of probation: $680 per week After 6 months (with professional training and 2-year employment contract): $720 per week with a 5% annual increase* Benefits: After Probation: Holiday pay and free dry cleaning* After 1 Year: 1 week paid vacation After 3 Years: 2 weeks paid vacation Note: This is a full-time position.
