This position integrates preschool instruction, parent education, and program leadership to support the development of young children and strengthen families within the community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Preschool InstructionPlan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Minnesota Early Learning StandardsCreate a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environmentObserve, assess, and document children's developmental progressDifferentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needsMaintain compliance with licensing and school readiness requirementsParent EducationPlan and facilitate parent education sessions as part of ECFE programmingSupport families in understanding child development, behavior, and learningBuild strong relationships with families through communication and outreachProvide resources and referrals to community services as neededProgram CoordinationCoordinate ECFE programming, including scheduling classes and staffAssist with program planning, enrollment, and marketingMaintain accurate records for reporting (MARSS/ECFE reporting, attendance, fees, etc.)Ensure compliance with Minnesota ECFE statutes and district policiesCollaborate with administration on budgeting and program developmentCollaborationWork collaboratively with early childhood staff, special education, and community partnersParticipate in district early childhood initiatives (School Readiness, Preschool, Screening, etc.)Attend staff meetings, professional development, and required trainingsQualifications:Required:Valid Minnesota teaching license in one or more of the following:Parent EducationEarly Childhood Education (Birth Grade 3)Early Childhood Special Education (preferred but not required)Knowledge of child development (birth age 5) and family systemsStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred:Experience teaching in ECFE and/or preschool settingsExperience facilitating parent education groupsExperience with program coordination or leadershipKnowledge of Minnesota ECFE funding and reporting requirementsCompensation and Benefits:Salary based on district teacher contract or ECFE salary schedule Page 31 in Master Agreement listed on our district website https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fZTVSGNdIJkDN7iAzMwtaYpdig4aYwXU/viewBenefits per master agreement (health, dental, TRA, etc.)Extended contract days may apply (if coordinator duties are significant)Application Process:Interested applicants should apply online at: https://www.applitrack.com/BreckenridgeK12/onlineapp/default.aspx?all=1SUPERVISION: This position reports directly to the School PrincipalCOMPENSATION: Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Master Agreement, available on the district website under Employment Opportunities Master Agreements (Page 31).
