Job Description
The Regulatory Advisory & Capital Solutions VP provides professional level of expertise as part of a client team and liaises with clients at various levels.
Depth & Scope
Develops thoughtful content for clients on relevant regulatory and legislative developments
Presents to clients as part of Capital Markets / Investment Banking coverage team
Demonstrates relevant market / industry / product knowledge
Prepares/delivers high impact presentations
Contributes to discussions of capital solutions and helps create content
Maintains client relationships, primarily with Treasurers, Capital Managers, and Funding Teams
Directs, trains, and develops team members to enable them to meet challenges, team objectives and achieve full potential
Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank
Maintains confidentiality of client information
Accountable for providing expertise and support to senior coverage team members by providing expertise and knowledge of relevant markets/industries/products
Acts as an experienced specialist for an assigned business or portfolio; role requires deep knowledge
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree required, law degree a plus
Some accounting, tax, and/or rating agency knowledge a plus
Series 7, 79 and 63 (can be obtained post-hire)
5-7 Years of related experience, at least 3 at a federal banking regulatory agency or Federal Reserve Bank
