Survey Project Leader, RPLS

OverviewThis full-time, exempt position reports to the Survey Department Manager and takes responsible charge, and coordinates work activities, for multiple large and/or complex land surveying projects simultaneously to their successful completion. Typical projects include platting, easements, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys. Willing to train the right candidate, very good mentoring situation. Duties & ResponsibilitiesTake responsibility for professional land surveying projects as requested.Effectively communicate with Client, construction personnel, local authorities and the general public, as needed.Successfully complete projects within established schedules, budgets and quality control standards.Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction as well as participate in development of new clients.Use of Civil 3D to modify, correct and update documents.RequirementsRegistration as Professional Land Surveyor in Texas, or another state with ability to obtain registration in Texas within 6 months.Minimum of three (2) years’ experience in responsible charge of professional land surveying projects as described above.Have very good verbal and written communication skills.Be in good standing with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.Legally able to work in the U.S. if not a citizen or permanent resident.Auto CAD Civil 3D.BenefitsExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision Care401K matchingEmployee-Owned Company through distributed stockGenerous PTOGrowth oriented company with a fun collaborative work culture
