Janitorial & Lawn Care Maintenance Associate

Summary: Responsible for cleaning the facility and to maintain the premises, that includes landscaping. Maintain and repair the facility. With following the 5S and safety regulations and the ISO14001 requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for all cleaning of facility Knowledge of MSDS sheets and assist with chemical inventory Knowledge of chemicals and necessary PPE to clean Helps as necessary to set up meetings/conferences, etc. Knowledge of proper storage of chemicals in regards to landscaping and janitorial Responsible for proper disposal of chemicals, recycles and general trash Responsible for repair of bathroom fixtures Knowledge of operating the cleaning equipment Assist with snow removal as necessary Responsible for flag pole and flag maintenance Responsible for landscaping and fertilization of trees, bushes and lawn Knowledge of operating landscaping equipment Responsible for maintenance/cleaning of all janitorial and landscaping equipment Responsible for weed control (especially Canadian Thistle) Responsible for 5S and safety of grounds Assist in painting building structure inside and outside Understands lock out/tag out procedures and has general understanding of arc flash procedures Understands IATF 16949:2016 and ISO-14001:2015 requirements Ensures quality and/or safety issues are identified and reported Understands environmental regulations and disposal requirements relative to his area Repair or correct any safety issues assigned to Facility maintenance from Safety meeting. Ensure Team work while accepting Ideas of others, and Brainstorming the best way to approach any project. Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Can operate equipment that is necessary to maintain the premises. Know about the IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements. 5S and Kaizen mentality. Hands on mind set.
