Job Title: Demo Chef (Offsite Events)Location: South Philadelphia, PA (with travel to event locations)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demo Chef to join our team in South Philadelphia, PA. This role is responsible for executing offsite culinary demonstrations and events, both daytime and evening, representing our brand with professionalism and expertise.The Demo Chef will play a key role in preparing for events, transporting all necessary ingredients and equipment, and delivering high-quality food presentations on-site. This position requires a combination of culinary excellence, organization, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure each event is executed seamlessly and leaves a lasting impression.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and execute offsite culinary demonstrations and events Coordinate all event logistics, including ingredient sourcing, packing, and equipment readiness Arrive on location fully prepared with all necessary tools, ingredients, and materials for a successful event Cook and present food in a professional, engaging, and visually appealing manner Represent the company brand positively during client-facing events Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations in all environments Assist with pre-event prep and post-event breakdown/cleanup Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and operations) to align event execution with business goals Manage multiple events and priorities, including occasional evening and weekend work Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of professional culinary experience, preferably in catering, events, or demonstrations Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and customer-facing skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Valid driver's license and ability to travel to event locations Preferred QualificationsExperience in live culinary demonstrations or brand ambassador roles Background in wholesale, seafood, or high-volume food production Experience in menu planning and product presentation Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) Experience managing event logistics and setup Core SkillsCulinary expertise and food presentation Event execution and logistics coordination Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills Time management and multitasking across multiple events Problem-solving in fast-paced, offsite environments Attention to detail and commitment to quality
