Accounting Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role will manage core accounting functions, support month-end and year-end close processes, and partner with leadership to maintain strong financial controls and compliance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading both processes and people.Key Responsibilities* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations* Manage and lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness* Review financial statements and supporting schedules for completeness and compliance with GAAP* Supervise and support accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback* Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed* Coordinate with external auditors and support audit and regulatory requirements* Partner with management on reporting, process improvements, and special projectsQualifications* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required* 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities* Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting* Experience with accounting systems and Excel; ERP experience preferred* High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills* Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholdersPay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Amaka MozieBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
