Job Description Job Title: Accounting ControllerJob Location: Waco, TXJob Status: Full-TimeJob Hours: M-F 8am – 5pmPay Range: DOEJob Description:Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is recruiting for a full-time Accounting Controller for a growing manufacturer in the Waco, TX area to oversee and manage all accounting and financial functions of the business. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, producing financial reports, and supporting the management team with financial analysis and operational insight.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ManagementManage all general accounting functions including:Accounts PayableAccounts ReceivableGeneral LedgerBank ReconciliationsJournal EntriesFixed AssetsPayroll coordinationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsMaintain accurate and timely financial reportingOversee month-end and year-end close processesMonitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecastsManage sales tax filings and other compliance reportingCoordinate with outside CPA for tax preparation and annual reviewsOperational & Management SupportDevelop and maintain budgets and financial forecastsAnalyze financial performance and provide recommendations to managementMonitor inventory accounting and costing - strong cost accounting experienceAssist with ERP/accounting system management and process improvementsMaintain internal controls and accounting proceduresSupport management with reporting, KPIs, and operational analysisAdministrative & Other DutiesAssist with HR/payroll administration as neededManage vendor relationships related to accounting and bankingSupport insurance audits, lender reporting, and other financial requirementsParticipate in process improvement and automation initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred5+ years of accounting or controller experienceExperience in distribution, construction supply, industrial supply, or waterworks industry preferredStrong understanding of:financial statementscash flow managementinventory accountingjob costingExperience with ERP/accounting systemsAdvanced Excel skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred ExperienceExperience in small to mid-sized businessesCPA or CMA designation is a plus but not requiredApply at www.crouchstaffing.com
