Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, this role is primarily focused on new business acquisition, identifying, engaging and converting net-new beauty and CPG brands into long-term SoPost partners.This is a hands on, individual contributor new business hunter role, suited to a commercially driven individual who thrives on opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and closing complex, high value enterprise deals.You will own the full new business lifecycle - from outbound prospecting and first contact through pitch, negotiation, and close - with continued ownership of newly won accounts for up to 12 months post-sale. During this period, you will be responsible for ensuring a strong launch, protecting initial revenue, and identifying early expansion opportunities before transitioning the account to a long-term retention manager.Success in this role is driven primarily by net-new logo acquisition, robust pipeline creation, and consistent delivery against new revenue targets, with post-sale activity focused on maximizing first year value rather than long-term account management.This is a hybrid role, where you will be required to work from our New York office for a minimum of 2 days per week.The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with significant experience in new business sales and business development within a B2B environment. You will have a proven ability to identify market opportunities, engage senior decision-makers and convert prospects into high-value brand partnerships.You will bring a strong understanding of market trends within the tech, beauty and/or CPG industries, enabling you to develop and execute a targeted new business strategy across your territory. You will be resilient, commercially sharp, highly motivated by results, and laser-focused on closing deals.This is an exciting opportunity to support the continued growth of SoPost and will involve:* Proactively identifying, targeting and securing net-new beauty and CPG brand partnerships across North America* Building and executing a robust outbound new business strategy, including account targeting, prospecting and pipeline development* Owning the full sales cycle from first contact through to contract negotiation and close* Developing and maintaining a healthy, accurately forecasted new business pipeline, reporting regularly on progress and deal probability* Establishing senior-level relationships with brand-side and agency stakeholders to position SoPost as a strategic marketing partner* Delivering compelling pitches and proposals aligned to prospective partners' commercial and marketing objectives* Achieving and exceeding agreed new business revenue targets* Staying up to date on SoPost's product roadmap and the wider digital media landscape to identify and articulate new opportunities* Maintaining accurate CRM records of prospects, contacts and activity* Attending relevant industry events to network, prospect and raise SoPost's profile where new business opportunities existEssential SkillsWe are looking for a driven. organized self-starter who is and able to demonstrate these essential skills during our interview process:* Proven experience (3+ years) in new business / hunter sales within a B2B, high-volume or enterprise sales environment* A demonstrable track record of winning net-new business, consistently meeting or exceeding new business revenue targets* Experience selling to mid-size to enterprise brands, ideally within the beauty, CPG, digital media or marketing technology sectors* Strong prospecting and outbound skills, with the ability to open doors and engage senior decision-makersA strong existing network or ability to quickly build relationships with brand and agency stakeholders* Highly consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover customer needs, articulate value and close complex deals* Excellent negotiation, objection-handling and closing skills* Strong understanding of the digital media and marketing ecosystem and competitive landscape* Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders* Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage pipeline and forecast accuratelyThe successful candidate should be highly motivated, resilient and results-driven - someone who thrives on the challenge of winning new business and is always pushing for more.Holidays and Benefits* Competitive Salary and Commission Plan* 26 days of PTO, which includes the period between Christmas and New Year, when all SoPost offices are closed* One 'Life Moment' day per year of additional leave, which you can define.
