Whether you work in a lab, on a production line, or behind a spreadsheet, your ideas help move science, sustainability, and patient care forward.The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Head of Finance.What you will be doing:Assist in all phases of planning and various types of financial analysis, including assistance in strategic planning, competitive cost analysis, special project assignments, acquisition analysis and valuation, as well as preparation of various pro formas as the relate to major expansions, acquisition/divestitures.Develop financial solutions and methods necessary to accomplish the strategic goals of ThermoSafe.Assist the financial portion of the strategic planning process.Establish income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow templates for ongoing monthly reporting, both for Arsenal BOD and externally for lenders.Assist ThermoSafe management in the preparation of cost valuations, capital project justifications, acquisition analysis, plant shutdowns or expansions, as well as various financial pro formas.Conduct financial analysis and special project work for ThermoSafe, including preparation of various pro formas, discounted cash flows, ROI’s as they relate to major expansion/acquisitions/divestitures and business valuations.Conduct financial, information, post completion capital audits, and internal control audits; assist in monthly and quarterly financial projects.Work closely with Plant management to develop ad hoc and standard computerized reporting packages via financial databases, electronic spreadsheets and PC networks to ensure accomplishment of ThermoSafe’s strategic goals.Utilize techniques of statistical analysis and operations research; recommend and implement appropriate models/electronic spreadsheets to improve forecasting, planning, scheduling, and analytics.Assist in communications, reporting and analysis of international results.Review submitted capital projects, checking the accuracy of the justification calculations and compliance with ThermoSafe capital policy.Assist in the budgeting process and assist/coordinate with SOX requirements in ThermoSafe.Oversee fixed asset accounting, supplemental reporting, timely closures, etc.Assist with routine month end reporting, ad hoc plant reporting, and plant variance analysis.Assist with preparation of Quarterly Reforecasts, Economic Bridge and explanations/commentary of variances to prior year and budget.Assist with training of new manufacturing and sales personnel in ThermoSafe accounting and financial systems.Perform other duties as assigned.As a Senior team member, demonstrate strong knowledge of ThermoSafe’s business and/or experience in other manufacturing settings; perform job functions without direct supervision; take on non-routine assignments with minimal supervision/guidance; initiate and lead projects that add value to the business; maintain routine written and verbal communication with management; and lead complex, multi-disciplinary study teams.Compensation: The annual base salary range for this role is $125,600 - $141,300 DOE.We'd love to hear from you if: You have a four-year undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent 10+years of financial experience.You have strong technical aptitude and the ability to grasp a general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies.You have strong analytical capabilities.You have strong interpersonal skills.You have the ability to effectively organize and structure activities.You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.You have strong knowledge of analysis and product costing.You have an Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (preferred).You hold CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
