GTC Asset Specialist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe GTC Asset Specialist position is a data entry focused role. This position is responsible for processing paperwork for purchase and sale transactions in accounts that hold alternative assets.GoldStar Trust Company is a self-directed IRA Custodian established in 1989. GoldStar is not a fiduciary. Client's direct investment purchases and sales transactions inside their accounts via submission of specific paperwork. GoldStar's role is to process the client's directed asset transactions, produce market value statements and complete tax reporting to the IRS.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Process and prepare requests to liquidate alternative assets in operating system.2. Process and prepare requests for in-kind distribution of alternative asset.3. Prepare various orders to complete requested transaction from client or broker.4. Reconcile with reporting entity and ensure records are accurate.5. Conduct research as needed.6. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.7. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.8. Perform any other related duties as required or assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.CRITICAL THINKING SKILLSAbility to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
