The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on framing for commercial projects. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with a team, and a commitment to safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform commercial metal and wood framing tasks according to project specifications and building codes.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of framing projects.Measure, cut, shape, and assemble framing materials (metal studs, wood beams, etc.) to construct and repair frameworks and structures.Install metal and wood framing components for walls, floors, and ceilings in commercial settings.Use hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks safely and efficiently.Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.Follow safety guidelines and regulations on all job sites.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial framing, including metal and wood.Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans.Experience with using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.Knowledge of building codes and safety practices.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.OSHA certification preferred.Additional Requirements:Must have reliable transportation to job sites.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
