We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader to run daily operations and cultivate an outstanding team culture at one of our locations.Spread Bagelry is seeking a General Manager (GM) who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of passionate foodservice professionals. This role requires a high level of energy, attention to detail, and a genuine love for hospitality. The GM drives performance by coaching team members, maintaining operational excellence, and managing the business to meet and exceed financial goals.Responsibilities:Operations & Guest ExperienceLead by example in delivering warm, consistent, high-quality service.Ensure all food and beverage items meet Spread Bagelry's brand and quality standards.Monitor restaurant cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.Manage daily checklists, opening/closing procedures, and shift execution.Troubleshoot service issues in real time with a guest-first mindset.Team LeadershipHire, train, coach, and develop all team members, including shift leaders.Build a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with company values.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.Ensure all staff are properly trained on food safety, procedures, and brand standards.Financial & Business PerformanceManage labor costs, COGS, and controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budget goals.Analyze daily/weekly/monthly P&L reports to identify areas for improvement.Create and execute plans to drive sales, including local marketing and community engagement.Maintain proper inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste.Compliance & Brand IntegrityEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and labor laws.Maintain accurate records for scheduling, payroll, and operational checklists.Represent the Spread Bagelry brand with integrity and professionalism at all times.Qualifications:3+ years of restaurant management experience (fast-casual or QSR preferred).Proven ability to lead, inspire, and hold a team accountable.Strong financial acumen and comfort working with KPIs, P&L, and budgets.Experience with Toast, XtraChef, and/or 7shifts a plusHigh energy, hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills.ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.If you love great food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a real impact, Spread Bagelry might be the perfect home for your leadership.Apply today and help us spread the love—one bagel at a time!
