The position ensures the reliability, compliance, and optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and physical infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a licensed Master Electrician with strong leadership experience and a deep understanding of mission-critical environments.Job DescriptionOversee electrical infrastructure across facilities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codesLead and supervise daily operations related to electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenanceServe as the technical expert for high-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS, and generator operationsManage preventative and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiencyCollaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to support data center requirementsDevelop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and safety procedures for facility and electrical systemsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standards (NFPA, OSHA, NEC, and local codes), as well as applicable CIP requirementsParticipate in capital planning, vendor coordination, and infrastructure upgradesLead response efforts for emergency maintenance situations and after-hours incidentsTrack and report on maintenance performance, reliability metrics, and operational dataReview vendor designs, blueprints, and proposals to ensure alignment with specificationsManage budgets for maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements across multiple sitesBuild and maintain effective cross-functional relationships within the organizationSkills RequiredMinimum 8 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, including at least 3 years in a leadership roleValid Master Electrician license (State of Texas)Extensive experience in large-scale data centers or mission-critical environmentsDeep knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including redundancy, load balancing, and failure modesProficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Familiarity with HVAC/BAS systems, fire life safety systems, and building automation technologiesExperience with building management systems (BMS), dcTrack, or similar monitoring toolsProject management or trade certifications (e.g., PMP, NICET, LEED) preferredValid Texas Driver's License (required)Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsEffective crisis management and decision-making under pressureCommitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellenceStrong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented mindsetEducationAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related fieldSalary$135,000 per year (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
