Mission Control Associate

Location:Foster City, CASalary Range:$29/hrIntroductionMission Control is responsible for ensuring each trip requested by a rider is successful. Similar to air traffic control but for our fleet of autonomous vehicles, this team works behind the scenes to ensure trips are running smoothly and safely from our service operations command center. They focus on service operations both holistically and at the individual vehicle level to identify ways to maximize safety and service efficiency, including real-time management of fleet and crew allocation. Mission Controllers monitor particular areas within the vehicle's operational design domain and put restrictions in place if certain areas should be temporarily avoided, such as during civic events, sigalerts, or emergency scenes.
