Laboratory AdministratorJoin National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Laboratory Administrator opportunity at NDX Group Practice Solutions in Sarasota, FL.The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Assist General Manager as it pertains to preparation of reports related to sales, labor, productivity, material usage, budget performance, etc.Assist with HR related items such as hiring/onboarding orientation, benefits and other team member needs as they ariseOversee all local accounting functions such as inventory, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, etc.Work with Compliance Manager to ensure laboratory compliance with OSHA regulations, including but not limited to accident reporting, chemical labeling, etc.Assist managers with time-clock issues and approvals as well as assist with attendance tracking, etc.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to read, analyze, and interpret informationMust have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office productsMust have great communication, listening and problem solving skillsMust be organized and detail orientedMinimum Education and Experience Required:High School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting or related degree preferredThree years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Office Equipment (Computer, Copier, Paper Cutter, etc.)Hazardous ChemicalsSharp instrumentsPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reachAbility to read and comprehend written communicationsPush, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 poundsQualificationsBehaviors:Team Player:Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented:Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated:Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityEducation:Required:High School or Equivalent or better.Experience:Required:Three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceLicenses & Certifications:Required:Valid Driver LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
