This contract role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services to a school-aged population in an on-site setting. The position offers a structured schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for consistent engagement with students and collaboration with educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs
Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student goals
Deliver indirect services such as consultation and collaboration with teachers and families
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and licensing standards
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold an active Oregon license as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience working with a school-aged population is essential
Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and speech therapy service delivery models
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel
Ability to manage caseload independently and efficiently in compliance with school policies
