IronWood Solutions LLC values collaboration, clear communication, and long-term professional growth for its workforce.Role Description The Drilling Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bastrop, TX, responsible for operating and monitoring drilling equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Daily tasks include setting up drilling rigs, aligning and connecting tubing, monitoring drilling parameters, and adjusting operations to maintain productivity and safe working conditions. The role involves inspecting equipment before and after use, performing basic maintenance, and reporting any issues or malfunctions.The Drilling Operator will work closely with field crews to lay out and support pipelines, manage materials and tools, and ensure that work sites are kept orderly and compliant with safety regulations. This position requires following detailed instructions, completing documentation related to drilling activities, and participating in regular safety meetings and training.QualificationsDemonstrated experience with Drilling operations and safe handling of drilling tools and systems.Ability to work with Heavy Equipment, including safe operation, basic troubleshooting, and adherence to equipment protocols.Knowledge of Tubing installation, handling, and connection methods used in drilling and field operations.Familiarity with Pipelines, including layout, support, and coordination with drilling activities.Skills in Equipment Maintenance, including routine inspections, preventive care, and timely reporting of mechanical issues.Understanding of workplace safety standards, especially in industrial and field environments; ability to follow PPE and OSHA guidelines.Physical ability to perform manual labor, work outdoors in varying conditions, and lift moderate to heavy loads as required by the role.Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in drilling, construction, or industrial field operations is preferred.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends, based on project requirements.
