This team is responsible for the strategy, design, deployment, and maintenance of effective security solutions in cloud, local, and hybrid environments.REQUIREMENTS:The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:5+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years focused on working with security engineering teamsDemonstrated experience gathering requirements, managing backlogs, and delivering roadmapsStrong understanding of security concepts and technologies related to Identity and Access Management (IAM), security engineering, network security design, security operations, security architecture, general engineering processes, cloud security, data loss protection, zero trust, DevSecOps and vulnerability management.Security Engineering mindset with Subject Matter Expertise and hands-on experience in a security domainDemonstrated experience streamlining and automating business processes through technology solutionsDemonstrated federal experience and comprehensive knowledge in adopting and implementing federal cybersecurity requirements, including but not limited to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OMB Memorandum M-22-09, NIST SP 800-53Possess deep analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting experience, to independently resolve complex security challenges.Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborating closely with engineering and DevOps teamsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security concepts for various audiencesTrack record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder managementThe Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:Define, prioritize and maintain the product backlog for security engineering initiatives including but not limited to:Cloud SecurityIdentity and Access ManagementSecurity tooling and automationHigh level customer supportGather and synthesize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders to inform strategy and prioritization decisions.Support enhanced understanding and availability of policy and process requirements across the organizationTranslate regulatory requirements, policy and stakeholder needs into well-defined product/process requirements and user storiesDevelop product roadmaps for security engineering automation tools and help drive measurable improvements in efficiency and risk reductionManage and prioritize the team backlog, balancing short term needs with long term strategyManage stakeholder communication, alignment and transparency about roadmap and outcomesMeasure outcomes and use feedback and data to inform continuous improvement of processes and services.Personnel QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in IT or related field or equivalent software engineering experienceExperience working in an agile environmentExtensive experience working with engineering teams and enterprise architectsExperience defining and driving product strategy for security engineering-related initiativesAbility to translate complex technical security engineering concepts into clear product requirementsAbility to effectively manage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes.
