All team members are paid positions, including this vital role. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival, providing a positive first impression. * Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems * Coordinate seating assignments efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. * Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. * Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests. * Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or needs promptly and courteously. * Support the restaurant team by managing table status updates and ensuring smooth flow between seating and service staff. *Skills* * Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar food service role, demonstrating strong customer service skills. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and friendly interaction. * Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. * Familiarity with food safety standards and proper guest relations practices in a hospitality setting. * Experience with phone communication, demonstrating professionalism in phone etiquette and guest interactions.
