Manual Machinist (No CNC) – Hydraulic Repair

About The RoleKenco Hydraulics is seeking a Manual Machinist to join our service team. This role is focused on manual machining and hydraulic cylinder repair—not CNC production work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating manual equipment and takes pride in precision repair, rebuild, and fabrication work.This position supports the repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of hydraulic components, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual machining operations using lathes, mills, and related equipment (no CNC work)Repair, rebuild, and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and componentsRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsPerform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, and wire feed as needed)Inspect parts and completed work to ensure proper function and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all Kenco Hydraulics safety policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departmentsWork overtime as needed to meet customer demandsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsRequired: Experience with manual machining (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.) (Candidates with CNC-only experience will not be a fit for this role) Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG preferred)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and understand blueprintsHydraulic cylinder repair experience is a strong plusAbility to work independently and manage workflow efficientlyBasic computer skills or willingness to learn for job tracking and documentationHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong work ethic and reliabilityPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs regularlyFrequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squattingUse of arms and legs with full range of motionAbility to push and pull as requiredCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay: $24.00 – $30.00, based on experienceOvertime opportunities availablePerformance-based bonus opportunities tied to company performance401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offWork Location & RequirementsOn-site role in Hatfield, PAMust be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to startValid driver’s license with clean driving record preferredWhy Join Kenco Hydraulics?Kenco Hydraulics is a trusted provider of hydraulic repair and service solutions.
