Systems Development Engineer, EC2
Overview
In this role you will help design, build, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure for US government customers. You will work with cross-functional teams across isolated AWS regions and GovCloud to improve tools, automation, and reliability. You’ll apply site reliability engineering practices to reduce complexity and boost service stability, while mentoring peers and contributing to architecture decisions. ResponsibilitiesLead troubleshooting on complex multi-service issues and drive automation projects from design to deploymentMentor junior engineers and collaborate with service teams to resolve region-specific challengesDesign monitoring, alerting, and deployment practices aligned with real performance dataImprove tools, processes, and documentation to enhance customer experienceServe as escalation point for difficult issues and contribute to playbooks for operational reliabilityCollaborate across AWS regions and GovCloud to optimize operational workflows
