*Job Summary* We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments, upholstery, and fabric-based products. Your expertise will ensure that each item meets strict quality standards and dimensional specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sewing techniques, materials handling, and safety protocols, contributing to efficient production processes and superior product craftsmanship. *Duties* * Operate various industrial sewing machines, including serging and embroidery equipment, to assemble garments and fabric products with precision. * Measure fabric materials and finished items using measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions according to design specifications. * Perform manual fabric cutting when necessary to prepare materials for sewing processes. * Construct seams and perform seam construction techniques that meet established quality standards in production. * Handle materials carefully within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory management. * Maintain adherence to safety standards in production areas by following proper machine operation procedures and safety protocols. * Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, verifying fabric integrity, stitching accuracy, and overall product quality. * Use dimensional measurements to verify finished products align with design specifications. * Support garment construction processes by applying appropriate sewing techniques such as serging, embroidery, and upholstery stitching. * Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on sewing machines to minimize downtime and maintain continuous workflow. * Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator in a manufacturing or garment production environment. * Extensive knowledge of sewing machine operation, including industrial sewing machines such as sergers and embroidery machines. * Familiarity with measuring instruments used in textile manufacturing for precise fabric and product measurements. * Understanding of quality standards in production to ensure consistent product excellence. * Experience with garment sewing, upholstery work, manual fabric cutting, and seam construction techniques. * Knowledge of handling various fabric materials including textiles used in apparel or upholstery projects. * Awareness of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure safe machine operation. * Warehouse experience is advantageous for efficient materials handling and inventory management. * Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications related to garment or product construction.
