Electrical EngineerTipton, MO (Work Location Type: In-Office with the opportunity to work hybrid or remote (depending on the level of skill)Perm RoleThe primary purpose of the Electrical Designer is to provide electrical drafting services, including power system drawings and industrial control system drawings, for packaged generator sets, biogas digesters, and renewable natural gas upgrading systems.Key Responsibilities and DutiesCreate and update design drawing, including electrical one-lines, three-lines, control diagrams, and panel layouts.Generate detailed BOMs (Bills of Materials) for electrical designs.Adhere to company and client engineering standards and procedures.Ensure electrical designs comply with local and national electrical codes and standards.Communicate with contractors and customers using clear verbal and written communication.Required CompetenciesEducation : High Scheool Diploma preferred or relevant experienceExperience : Experience using AutoCAD Electrical for design products, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Skills :Solid understanding of electrical circuits theory (electrical circuits, components, wiring standards, and the National Electrical Code)Excellent attention to detailThe ability to interpret technical specificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical details to peersFocus and attention to detail for complex electrical systemsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentStrong time management and organizational skillsFamiliar with UL508A Industrial Control Panel design requirementsReporting LinesReports To : Electrical Drafting ManagerInteraction with Other DepartmentsEngineeringProductionServiceMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
