Title: Data ArchitectLocation: Tallahassee, Florida Job Description:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 7 years of experience with large and complex database management systemsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKSAt a minimum, the Consultant(s) shall perform the following tasks:Design and manage enterprise-wide data architecture, balancing:Data access optimizationBatch loadingResource utilizationDesign and construct:Data architecturesOperational data storesData martsLead enterprise-wide data modeling and database design initiativesDefine and enforce data architecture standards, policies, and procedures, including:Data organization and structureAttributes and naming conventions (nomenclature)Data content standards across technology projectsPerform:Business analysisData acquisition and access analysis/designDatabase Management Systems (DBMS) optimizationRecovery strategy design and implementationData load strategy design and implementationWork on multiple projects as a Project Leader or Subject Matter Expert (SME)Handle high-complexity projects/issues requiring deep knowledge across multiple technical areas and business domainsCoach and mentor junior technical staff
