Mechanical Repair Technician

ResponsibilitiesRepair Technicians are responsible for the disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly, and post repair testing of Reverse Vending Machine mechanical components. Responsible to adhere to procedures, quality standards, and productivity goals as directed by supervision and in accordance with company policies.Essential DutiesLift assemblies of up to 50 lbs.Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules, and demands for emergent repairsIntegrate with a team of technicians, inspectors, and leadership with effective communication and teamwork.Perform non-technical functions as directed by supervision (housekeeping, counting inventory, audit support).Support implementation of LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, and ISO initiatives.Wear properly assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read, speak, and understand EnglishKnowledge of basic mechanical and electrical principlesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and work documentsWilling to act on supervisor directionMaintain a clean and safe working environmentFamiliar with basic hand toolsPrevious experience in LEAN principles is desired
