This role partners closely with providers, clinic teams, and Medical Assistants (MAs) to ensure efficient workflows, high-quality patient care, and consistent communication. The Coordinator serves as a key liaison between clinic operations and centralized support, with occasional on-site clinic support (monthly or as needed).What Makes This Role UniquePrimarily contact centerbased with monthly clinic presenceOpportunity to support multiple clinics and drive consistency in workflowsDirect impact on care coordination, patient experience, and operational efficiencyCompensation is dependent on skills and experience.Administrative & Coordination DutiesCoordinate daily Medical Assistant assignments to support efficient back-office operations across clinicsServe as a resource for back-office issues requiring immediate attention in the absence of the Health Center ManagerFacilitate communication among Medical Assistant staff regarding workflows, updates, and process changesSupport and track patient care activities, including preventive care (e.g., pap smears, immunizations, labs)Lead and facilitate MA team huddles and small group meetings as neededAssist with onboarding and ongoing training of Medical Assistants in partnership with leadershipSupport a team of approximately 6 Medical Assistants, providing guidance and coordinationDevelop, implement, and improve workflows to enhance efficiency and patient careParticipate in and support Quality Management initiatives and process improvementsClinic & Patient Support Duties (Contact Center-Based)Triage patients and support appointment coordinationRespond to patient calls and inquiries in a timely, professional mannerReview and research patient charts; communicate follow-up needs with patients and providersComplete lab, imaging, referral forms, and prior authorizations per HealthPoint proceduresProvide patient education on medications and care instructions as directed by providersManage medication refill requests, documentation, and pharmacy communicationsSchedule and track referral appointments and follow-upsSend test result communications and coordinate provider follow-up as neededAct as a liaison between clinic teams, providers, and front office staff to ensure coordinated patient flowAttend team huddles, staff meetings, and participate in organizational initiativesOrganizational ExpectationsMaintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and full scheduled shifts as a condition of employmentDemonstrate professionalism, respect, and a team-oriented approachUphold HealthPoint's mission, vision, and core values in all interactionsParticipate in HealthPoint collaboratives, committees, and continuous improvement effortsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need to Be SuccessfulHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant programActive Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (or Interim Certification)OR ability to obtain MA Registration at hire and complete Interim Certification within 60 daysCurrent Medical Assistant certification/licence must be maintained throughout employmentProof of vaccination for COVID-19 is required, prior to start. Each page of your records should include your first and last name, date of birth, and the name of the health system from which the records are pulled.If records do not show any data, please seek guidance from your provider for further assistance.If you are unable to provide proof as noted above, you can choose to have a lab titer drawn to check immunity or to be re-vaccinated.
