About The RoleThe Safety Administrative Assistant will support the company's safety culture and assist multiple regions with various safety-related duties. Included focus is safety recordkeeping and reporting. Comprised of long- and short-tenured employees, we are interactive amongst our growing family of subsidiaries, which allows employees to participate in clean energy projects, as well as complete our long-time transmission and distribution projectsEssential FunctionsCompile, maintain and manage internal safety department electronic files on serversObtain and manage pre-qualification requests as required by client using 3rd party sitesProvide reports as requested to management, customers, and internal staffAssist with general administrative duties as assignedOrdering safety supplies, books, and other materialsAssist with management of the corporate cell phone accountEnter Training (LMS) & Incidents (IMS) into our internal systemsReview incident entries regularly to ensure forms are completeUpdate and maintain department organization charts and other safety resourcesWork as a liaison with insurance carrier and districts office contacts regarding claimsAssist Safety Specialist with incident case managementRegular attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed at a company designated officeUnderstand and comply with the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry specific professional and ethical conduct standardsABOUT YOUQualifications2 or more years of experience in an office setting; preferably in commercial electrical operations, transmission/distribution operations, or general construction operationsPractical administrative experiencePreferred EducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred - but not requiredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent computer skills including MS Word and ExcelAbility to interface with and provide general project support to operations and safety professionalsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detailSelf-directed and ability to think logicallyAbility to interface effectively with all levels of personnelAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work self-sufficiently on assigned tasksWhat We OfferCompensation & BenefitsSalary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly via direct deposit.
