We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered and recognised.What You Can ExpectResponsible for all activities required to fabricate, reproduce, or modify tooling, fixtures, gauges, existing parts or products as assigned by the supervisor.How You'll Create ImpactWork from sketches, prints, models, or verbal instruction by utilizing sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment.This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act.What Makes You Stand OutAttention to detailWorking knowledge of stainless steel, titanium, Zimaloy, UHMPWE plastic, ceramics, cold and hot rolled steel, brass, tool steels, aluminum, rubber, and castings.A good working knowledge of CNC equipment as well as conventional metal cutting, grinding, and plastic working equipment.Capable of laying out work in the most cost-effective manner from the information available.Capable of working in a team-based environment.Your BackgroundMust Meet one of the Following:Completion of the Zimmer Biomet Aspire Tool & Die Trainee programCompletion of a Tool & Die degree (Associates) with 3 yrs of relevant tool making experience,6 yrs of hands on Toolmaking ExperienceA four year approved Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program is approvedTravel ExpectationsUp to 5%EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
