An AI startup backed by 8VC and NBA Investments is hiring a Data Scientist to own the applied modelling and feature engineering behind a consumer graph covering 270M+ Americans. Clients include the NBA, Capital One, and the Miami Dolphins.This is not a notebook role. You'll be building and deploying probabilistic models (income, wealth, affinity estimation) and feature engineering pipelines at terabyte scale — end to end, in production.You'll need:2-10 years applied DS experience with production deploymentStrong Python and SQLExperience with data pipelines (dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or similar)Background from a high talent bar environment — quant fund, top-tier tech, or a top-10 PhD programDegree from a top-30 university in a quantitative fieldNot right for you if:You've only worked in notebooks or BI toolsYou build ML infra but don't do hands-on modellingYou're not able to commit to 5 days onsite in Brooklyn, NYCVisa sponsorship available. $200-225K plus equity.If your work is in production and the scale is real — apply.c
