The environment requires secure, resilient, and scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, hybrid connectivity, and multi-cloud architecture.Position SummaryThe Enterprise Cloud Architect will design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. This role will focus on high availability, fault tolerance, hybrid connectivity, network security, traffic engineering, and secure multi-cloud architecture to support enterprise-scale technology operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and manage network infrastructure within AWS and Azure cloud environmentsArchitect highly available and fault-tolerant cloud network environments across multi-region and multi-Availability Zone deploymentsDevelop resiliency patterns, automated failover solutions, disaster recovery strategies, and business continuity network designsImplement hybrid cloud connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway and Azure ExpressRouteProvision and manage Megaport services, including Virtual Cross Connects, to support secure private connectivity between cloud and on-premises environmentsManage network traffic flows including ingress routing, egress routing, traffic optimization, path selection, and high-availability design across distributed cloud environmentsDeploy, configure, and manage cloud-native load balancing services including AWS Elastic Load Balancing, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Application GatewayDeploy and manage virtual firewall solutions, including Network Virtual Appliances such as Palo Alto VM-Series and Cisco CSR 8000vConfigure and manage native cloud security controls including AWS Security Groups, Azure Network Security Groups, and Network Access Control ListsDesign and implement VPC peering, VNet peering, hybrid connectivity, multi-region architectures, and multi-cloud architecturesConfigure and manage Border Gateway Protocol in cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud network environmentsApply secure network architecture principles including access control, segmentation, and compliance-aligned design practicesRequired QualificationsMinimum six years of experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network infrastructureSignificant hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud networking environmentsMinimum four years of experience designing and implementing highly available and resilient cloud network architecturesMinimum four years of experience with failover, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutionsMinimum four years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking services including Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, load balancing, routing, and hybrid connectivityMinimum four years of experience implementing and supporting Megaport services, including Virtual Cross Connect provisioning and private cloud connectivityMinimum four years of experience in network traffic engineering, routing optimization, network segmentation, firewall deployment, and secure connectivity designStrong knowledge of cloud network security constructs including AWS Security Groups, Azure Network Security Groups, and Network Access Control ListsProficiency configuring and managing BGP in cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud network environmentsMust possess at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer AssociatePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting public sector, regulated, enterprise, or large-scale infrastructure environmentsHands-on experience with Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco CSR 8000v, native cloud firewalls, and Network Virtual AppliancesExperience designing secure multi-cloud architectures with AWS, Azure, Megaport, and private connectivity solutionsExperience supporting compliance-aligned cloud networking, network segmentation, and secure access control models
