Technical Services Specialist - Level 1 Associate (IT Business Systems Analyst)Our client is seeking a highly skilled, technical-minded IT Business Systems Analyst to provide comprehensive services and support for their Corporate Business Units (CBUs) line of business applications. This position applies diversified technical knowledge and practices to broad assignments across multiple fields, working with both front-end and back-end systems. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling effective maintenance and support of applications critical to business operations.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary liaison between Corporate Business Units and IT, facilitating communication and supportAcknowledge, evaluate, and resolve service tickets within SLA agreementsProvide first-tier functional and technical support to end usersSupport key applications while working with vendors and business stakeholdersExecute SQL scripts for data management and troubleshootingUnderstand and analyze applications and environment logsAdminister Windows servers and support on-premises Windows and Linux-based applicationsAssist with cloud solutions maintenance and migrationsAnalyze business processes and identify technology opportunities to reduce operational and licensing costsDesign and implement IT solutions to meet customer needs and business goalsPlan and develop technical projects with unique or complex requirementsApply advanced analytical skills to decompose work into manageable value-based unitsIdentify interdependencies and functional gaps in business processesContribute to application QA testing process and support end usersCreate and maintain project documentationSupport cutover planning and change management processesEnsure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and SOX controlsRequired Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred0-5 years of experience applying diversified knowledge of technical principles and practicesStrong understanding of business processes and practices related to corporate business unitsExemplary problem-solving skills, especially for complex technical and functional issuesExperience supporting applications with SSO integrationExpert level proficiency in Windows OS and Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with Windows infrastructure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Oracle, and MS SQLUnderstanding of computer architecture aspects including databases, ETLs, applications, network infrastructure, and firewallsStrong attention to detail, highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-orientedExcellent communication, relationship management, and time management skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of ServiceNowData analytics and dashboarding skills (Power BI and MS Power Apps)Strong test management skills (planning, execution, oversight)Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance controls experienceAgile working experienceExperience with cybersecurity applications and security stackExperience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)Work Environment:Standard business hours (8 AM - 5 PM)Collaborative work environment with opportunities for independent decision-makingInterface with business users, vendors, and technical team membersOpportunity to work on projects with significant impact on major company programs
