BC/BE Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant - NeurologyHSHS Medical Group is offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus for a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology team in Decatur, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice highlights include a well established, growing practice with a strong reputation within the Decatur community. The schedule is Monday to Friday with an option of 4 or 5 days per week. There is no call schedule, no holidays, and no weekends. EPIC EMR is used. Ample training time with the neurology team is provided.Position requirements include an unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start, board certification and board eligibility, and 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. Experience in Neurology is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.Compensation and benefits package includes a base guarantee, paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly, CME reimbursement plus days available per fiscal year, opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses, a $25,000 sign on bonus, and relocation assistance.Core function: provider education.Qualifications include a master's degree in nursing is required. A bachelor's degree in nursing plus 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A doctoral degree in nursing is preferred.Experience qualifications include experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.Certifications, licenses, and registrations include being licensed in the state of practice as an advanced practice registered nurse, Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, basic life support certification, board certification from the National Certification Corporation, controlled substance license in state of practice, federal DEA license, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.Job description includes building a culture based on solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
