Comprised of long- and short-tenured employees, we are interactive amongst our growing family of subsidiaries, which allows employees to participate in clean energy projects, as well as complete our long-time transmission and distribution projectsEssential FunctionsAssist Project Manager in a wide range of project management dutiesProactively develop effective, efficient solutions to issues that may ariseStudy bid specifications and drawings carefullyCommunicate continuously with clientsDeliver on projects in a timely mannerAttend networking events and travel to conferences and job sites as neededWork to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, vendors and the subcontractor communityCoordinate closely with crews, superintendents, and other departments within the companyEnsure safety procedures and policies are in place and followedPrepare look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reportsPrepare construction schedules in Microsoft Projects and/or PrimaveraRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assignedEssential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standardsABOUT YOUQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience as Estimator or Project Engineer in the electrical construction industryBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degreeKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficiency with MS Excel, and WordSuperior verbal and written communication skillsSuperior analytical and organizational skillsSuperior interpersonal and customer service skillsWhat We OfferCompensation & BenefitsSALARY: $80,000 - $90,000Salary commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
