Platform EngineerThe Opportunity:As a Platform Engineer, you'll help build and operate the foundational infrastructure behind an enterprise Digital Twin and modeling and simulation platform. You'll support containerized platforms and deployment pipelines that enable real-time visualization, simulation, and analytics across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.Here, you'll work alongside senior platform, DevOps, and application engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting systems operating under DoD security and ATO constraints while learning how large-scale digital platforms are built and sustained.You'll be building and sustaining critical systems and will have the opportunity to work side by side with our partners to ensure that we keep our platforms reliable, secure, and scalable.Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good.Join us. You Have:5+ years of experience working with containerized applications or platforms5+ years of experience with Kubernetes fundamentals5+ years of experience with Docker or OCI containersExperience working in Linux-based environmentsKnowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or HelmAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience supporting hybrid cloud or on-prem deploymentsKnowledge of regulated, government, or DoD environmentsKnowledge of container hardening or secure baseline conceptsSecret clearanceClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
