General Manager (West Region)
Role Summary
As a Regional General Manager, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations for a portfolio of dozens of parking facilities within your region, with primary responsibility for improving the region’s P&L month over month, quarter over quarter, and year over year.
Responsibilities
Consistently grow revenue of each property through pricing, business development, and marketing strategies.
Control operational expenses for all locations within your region without sacrificing the quality of on‑the‑ground operations.
Strengthen owner‑partner relationships to retain existing contracts and expand the footprint with each partner.
Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance for each property, review financial and operational results, and implement process improvements.
Run the owner‑partner relationship end‑to‑end, including monthly business reviews, performance reporting, escalations, and contract renewals.
Partner with the VP of Operations to develop the operations strategy roadmap for your region.
Build, implement, refine, and manage day‑to‑day processes behind successful parking management operations across AirGarage’s national footprint.
Develop and implement dynamic pricing, marketing, and business development strategies to drive revenue at portfolio locations.
Own enforcement operations across your region, including scan coverage, rescan ratios, citation performance, and enforcement P&L.
Lead operator transitions and new property onboarding, including standardizing prior operator P&Ls to set performance baselines and validate underwriting.
Partner with the Legal team to ensure compliance with local city and state governments, tax, licensing, and permitting requirements.
Implement data‑driven solutions to daily operational challenges to improve the experience of customers and partners.
Work closely with leadership to shape the future of the Operations team at AirGarage.
Additional day‑to‑day duties include wearing many hats such as focusing on aggressive growth targets, developing and implementing pricing and marketing strategies, diving deep into property P&Ls, negotiating with service vendors, reviewing enforcement performance, and interfacing directly with owner‑partners to report on financial performance.
Manage a Partner Success Manager and an Operations Manager and collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and Legal teams.
Qualifications
You must live in the western half of the United States (Pacific Time Zone, Mountain Time Zone, or Texas).
7+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years at a high‑growth startup; preferred backgrounds in real‑world operations, management consulting, investment banking, or commercial real estate.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a top U.S. program preferred.
Proven track record of leading highly complex projects, working cross‑functionally, and delivering results on time.
Self‑starter energized by difficult problems.
Exceptional analytical skills, including SQL proficiency, and ability to quickly learn new technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, Sigma).
Excellent written, verbal communication, and strong business judgment.
Entrepreneurial mindset; willing to work effectively in ambiguity.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to visit key owner‑partners and properties when required.
