Operating within a matrixed environment, this role provides strategic direction, oversight, and partnership to campus-based Directors of Admissions (DOAs).The RDOA ensures alignment of admissions strategy, performance expectations, and compliance standards across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, campus leaders, and cross-functional teams to optimize enrollment outcomes, enhance the prospective student experience, and scale best practices across the enterprise.JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnrollment Strategy & Performance LeadershipLead regional enrollment strategy across campuses and business lines to achieve and exceed start and revenue targetsEstablish standardized enrollment goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks in partnership with campus leadershipMonitor and evaluate admissions performance across campuses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunitiesProvide strategic guidance and performance coaching to campus DOAs to improve conversion, yield, and overall enrollment outcomesLeverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvementMatrix Leadership & PartnershipServe as the primary admissions thought partner to campus leadership teams, influencing enrollment strategy and executionProvide dotted-line leadership to campus DOAs, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards, priorities, and best practicesFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and student-centered service across decentralized admissions teamsLead regular performance reviews, business reviews, and strategy sessions with campus leaders and DOAsOperational Excellence & StandardizationDevelop, implement, and scale standardized admissions processes, tools, and best practices across campusesIdentify and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the prospective student experiencePartner with Marketing, Academics, and Operations to align lead flow, program offerings, and enrollment strategiesOptimize use of CRM systems (e.g., CampusNexus) and reporting tools to improve pipeline visibility and managementCompliance & Regulatory OversightServe as a subject matter expert on admissions-related regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirementsEnsure consistent adherence to Admissions Policies & Procedures across all campusesLead and oversee audits, reviews, and monitoring activities to maintain compliance with institutional, programmatic, and federal regulations (e.g., consumer disclosures, FAA where applicable)Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to proactively mitigate risk and ensure audit readinessTraining, Development & EnablementDesign and implement standardized onboarding, training, and development programs for admissions teamsIdentify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching and development resources to campus DOAs and teamsSupport leadership development within admissions to build bench strength and succession pipelinesPromote a positive, ethical, and high-performance culture aligned with institutional valuesEducationBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredExperience/Skills5+ years of progressive leadership experience in admissions or enrollment management, including experience as a Campus Director of Admissions, with a demonstrated track record of driving enrollment performanceProven ability to lead and influence outcomes in a matrixed, multi-campus environment without direct reporting authorityStrong knowledge of higher education admissions practices, including regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements (e.g., institutional accreditation, programmatic standards, consumer disclosures)Demonstrated success using data and analytics to drive enrollment strategy, improve conversion rates, and optimize performanceExceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop talent, align teams, and foster a high-performance, student-centered cultureStrategic thinker with strong operational execution skills and the ability to scale processes across diverse campuses and business linesExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence campus leadership and executive teamsHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical enrollment practicesStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); experience with CRM systems (e.g., CampusNexus) strongly preferredAbility and willingness to travel regionally, including overnight travel, and to support evening or weekend operations as neededWork Schedule:This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA, Home Office.Regular availability during standard business hours is expected, along with flexibility to support multiple campuses as needed. Some travel may also be required.What We OfferThe anticipated annual salary for this role is $100,000 - $110,000. However, actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location.
