The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation engineering and be proficient in PLC programming, AC/DC drives, and safety systems.Required Skills & QualificationsProficient in PLC programming (ladder logic & structured text)Experience with AC/DC drives, servo motors, HMIs, machine vision, and safety systemsStrong project leadership skills, including debugging, installation, equipment commissioning, and trainingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive mindset for process optimization and problem-solvingPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsHands-on experience with complex mechanical systems including CAD modelingExperience with Rockwell Automation Control Logix family of programmable controllers, Cognex vision systems, industrial roboticsDigital integration leveraging PLC & SCADA systems, including basic understanding of computer networking, TCP/IP, and industrial fieldbus architectures such as Ethernet I/PDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with customer factories and contracted suppliers to develop user requirements specifications (URS), automation concepts, and architectural-level designs for automated equipmentParticipate in end-to-end project execution with external equipment suppliers & integrators, ensuring regulatory complianceDesign and program industrial control systems such as PLCs, robotics, HMIs, vision systems, motion control systemsActively participate in design reviews and provide technical input to drive engineering decisionsDrive the Global Automation engineering team's best practices across project tollgatesCompany Benefits & CultureExcellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skillsSelf-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and able to multi-taskAbility to handle huge data and work with cross-functional teamsAbility to meet aggressive reliability, performance, and delivery targets
