We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This is an excellent chance to work in an outpatient primary care setting with a full-time schedule. We are looking for local candidates who can commute easily to the area. The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine and be comfortable treating patients of all ages. Position Overview: Job Title: Family Medicine Physician (Primary Care) Location: Near Glendale, CA Start Date: December 2, 2024 (Flexible start date options of either 12/02/2024 or 12/09/2024) Contract Duration: 3+ months Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends or call) Schedule: 7 hours of patient care daily, plus 1 hour for administrative duties Daily Patient Volume: 18-20 patients per day Patient Population: All ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics Procedures: Minor in-office procedures such as cyst removal, laceration repair, skin biopsies, and incision and drainage Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic experience is highly preferred Job Requirements: Board Certification: Family Medicine Board Certification is preferred but not required Licensure: Must have an active and unrestricted California medical license DEA License: Required Certifications: BLS or ACLS required Experience: At least 6 months of recent outpatient family practice experience is required. Candidates should have experience working with all age groups and be comfortable managing a diverse patient population. EMR Experience: Epic EMR experience is strongly preferred Support: The clinic has a fully staffed support team, including a practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, and patient care associates. There is no supervision required for this position.
