Description: Certified Interpreter Work Type: 1099 Contract | Virtual Responsibilities Provide real-time, accurate interpretation between two or more languages. Interpret in various settings, including meetings, medical appointments, court proceedings, and public events. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Adapt to different speaking styles, dialects, and regional variations. Assist in translating written documents when necessary. Prepare for assignments by researching industry-specific terminology. Collaborate with clients, professionals, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication. Utilize remote interpreting tools when necessary, such as video or telephone interpretation. Continuously develop language and interpretation skills through training and professional development. Uphold ethical standards and best practices in interpretation.
