Engineering Manager

JIMS is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department and help drive innovative product development in a precision manufacturing environment. For more than 50 years, JIMS has been a recognized leader in the high-performance motorcycle aftermarket, designing and manufacturing premium transmissions, engines, specialty tools, and performance components. What You'll Do As Engineering Manager, you will provide technical leadership while partnering closely with Production, Quality, and Executive Leadership to support manufacturing operations and new product development. Responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering Department Manage engineering projects, priorities, and team workload Support new product development from concept through production Improve machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing efficiency Develop and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements Partner with Production and Quality to troubleshoot manufacturing issues Chair the Document Review Board and maintain engineering document control Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing Qualifications Required: 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Previous engineering leadership or management experience Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes 5+ years of SolidWorks experience Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive salary: $115,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) Paid Time Off Seven paid holidays 401(k) with company match Health insurance with significant employer contribution Dental, vision, and life insurance options Modern, clean manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art CNC equipment Stable company with over 50 years of industry leadership Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on engineering, manufacturing, and new product development Why JIMS?
