Tax Accountant

Location:Nassau County, NY Salary Range:$70k-$100k Lloyd Staffing has partnered with a local CPA Firm based in Nassau County seeking aTax Accountantto join their team. This role offers hands-on exposure to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and motivated to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Performtax researchon federal, state, and international matters Prepare and reviewindividual (Form 1040) tax returns , including multi-state filings Prepare and reviewbusiness and specialty returns , including C-Corps (1120), S-Corps (1120S), Partnerships (1065), fiduciary (1041), foundations (990-PF), and gift tax (709) Assist withinternational compliance , including FBAR filings and expatriate returns Preparetax projections and estimated paymentsto support planning Assist withfinancial planningand special projects Respond totax noticesand support audits as needed Build and maintain strongclient relationships Qualifications 2–5 years of tax and accounting experience, preferably in public accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;CPA preferred(or in progress) Master’s in Taxation is a plus Experience working withhigh-net-worth individuals , including complexForm 1040returns Working knowledge ofincome tax planning and financial planning concepts Proficiency withCCH ProSystem fx Taxand Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
