Inside Sales Representative

Description: As a member of the Customer Support Team, the successful candidate will manage daily customer requirements. They will partner with their value stream team members to satisfy the needs of our customers’ base. Additionally, this team member will assist the Customer Support Manager on strategic development initiatives. Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: Engages with customers by telephone and/or email regarding products, orders, pricing, lead-times, delivery status, change order requests, and other questions relating to customer needs Provide solutions to customer issues Receive and process purchase orders Manage customer specific stock inventory levels Generate customer requested reports – such as stock inventory, backlog/open orders, etc. as necessary, discuss the above reports with the customer and reconcile any discrepancies with the customer as they arise Collaborate with outside sales, Production control, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that customer commitments are met Participate in customer meetings and visits, as required Minimal travel required Qualifications: Ability to develop professional relationships with all levels of management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented. Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision. A sense of urgency to accomplish critical tasks. Document creation, data analysis, and presentation skills An enthusiastic desire to learn the business and develop/enhance their leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Special Demands: Office work environment. May experience high noise and industrial environments on a limited basis. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions on a limited basis. Education / Training: Minimum: Associates Degree Prior customer service experience required Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Experience within a Manufacturing Organization
