Senior Commercial Real Estate Property Manager

WHLR is looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial retail properties and serve as a mentor and resource for our broader Property Management team. This role will sit in our Virginia Beach, VA office with frequent travel to assigned properties expected.What You'll DoAs a Senior Property Manager, you'll take the lead on complex property management responsibilities while also supporting the development of junior team members. You'll oversee all operational aspects of your assigned properties. Including budgeting, capital planning, vendor management, tenant relations, and lease compliance. While collaborating cross-functionally with leasing, construction, finance, and legal teams.You'll develop and manage 5-year Capital Plans, drive positive SSNOI performance, administer license agreements, respond to lender notices, and support property dispositions and acquisitions. You'll also mentor Assistant Property Managers and Property Managers, help coordinate portfolio-wide coverage, and contribute to process improvements and special projects across the department.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years of commercial property management experienceActive Real Estate Salesperson License (or greater) preferredCSM, CPM, or RPA designation preferred (or willingness to obtain)Coursework in real estate requiredDeep knowledge of building systems, construction, and property management technologyProven ability to manage multiple properties and projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skillsWhy Wheeler REIT?This is a senior-level opportunity to shape both portfolio performance and team excellence at a publicly traded REIT.
