Blue Star Donuts is looking for an experienced Driver to join our Production team! We create delicious & unforgettable mouth watering moments Every. Single. Day. Job-Type: Full-Time Pay: $18.45/hr +tips! Our Values: ● Donut Party Everyday ● Own it ● No Drama ● Unique Passion for Quality ● Together We’re Better ● Stellar Hospitality Production Driver: The responsibilities of a Production Driver include, but is not limited to, the following: ● Complete daily production tasks, as well as deliver donuts to our 5 Retail locations located across Portland! ● Learn and stay up to date on all Production processes & procedures ● Adhere to all Blue Star recipes and procedures, assigned by Chef or Production Management team ● Meet daily production goals and deadlines assigned by Production Management team ● Follow assigned station procedures; mixing, rolling, scooping, cutting and forming dough ● Demonstrate proficiency in finishing production; frying, glazing, and delivery preparation ● Demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge, and operation of all kitchen equipment ● Ensure cleanliness and uphold all sanitation standards of all workstations and equipment ● Ensure quality of all products upheld to Blue Star standards ● Assist in packaging + labeling production as assigned ● Acknowledge and adhere to Blue Star’s Driver Code of Conduct, includes following all traffic laws, including parking and pedestrian laws, to maintain professional driving mannerisms ● Follow delivery schedule provided by Production Manager ● Ensure products are delivered to designated Retail locations on time ● Verify inventory and quality of all products being delivered to Retail locations ● Utilize & participate in company communication platforms ● Uphold sanitation standards outlined by Blue Star Donuts ● Uphold all Food Service Health & Sanitation guidelines Our ideal candidate: ● Possesses a positive & enthusiastic personality with a strong desire to learn ● Has a self-starter mentality, and is able to work independently, without direct supervision, ● Demonstrates effective communication, and critical thinking skills ● Engages with all company communication & resource platforms ● Has exceptional, and engaging communication skills ● Demonstrates strong time management skills with multitasking capabilities ● Represents the company professionally while on & off their shift ● Possesses exceptional attendance, and is highly reliable ● Works well under pressure and can handle high volume effectively ● Encourages & contributes to our Donut Party culture!
