Role Description The Center Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of center management and operations, ensuring a nurturing environment for children, staff, and families. Responsibilities include managing enrollment processes, maintaining compliance with licensing and safety requirements, supporting and supervising staff, overseeing curriculum implementation, and ensuring strong parent communication. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ledgewood, NJ, focused on maintaining the highest standards of care and fostering a welcoming community for children and their families. Qualifications Experience in early childhood education, curriculum implementation, and child development knowledgeStrong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to hire, train, and support staffExcellent organizational and operational skills with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirementsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and childrenProficiency in administrative tasks, scheduling, and enrollment managementMinimum of an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)Ability to create a safe and joyful environment that promotes academic and social growth for childrenExperience in a leadership or management role within a childcare, educational, or similar setting
