Warehouse Associate

Job Description We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team in the warehouse.SummaryThe individual will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.Company HoursMonday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pmEssential duties and responsibilitiesAssist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandisePrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsOpen crates and other containersMaintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventoryPrepare parcels/pallets for mailingMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work-stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all timesWear the proper safety equipmentQualification requirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferredGood communication, organizational, time management mathematical skillsDependable and reliableInventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be requiredForklift certification a benefitPhysical demands and abilitiesRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRegularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlOccasionally required to sit and climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $20.50-23.00per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We follow strict social distancing rules when possible to protect our employees and regularly sanitize using stringent and thorough procedures.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
