Nurse LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Asthma & Allergy Associates has served Central New York, the Finger Lakes and the Southern Tier for over 40 years. We have offices located in Ithaca, Cortland, Elmira, Vestal, and Fayetteville. Our offices are open Monday-Friday, NO Nights, Weekends, or Holidays! Our benefit package includes, health, dental, vision, life, disability & 401K Job tasks include administering allergy injections, performing patient intake (taking vital signs and medication/medical/social/family histories), patient education as well as a variety of testing procedures (scratch testing, intradermal testing, patch testing, pulmonary function testing, NIOX, among others). Qualifications - Must have a valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license (NY) - Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and documenting them accurately in EMR systems - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Experience with Medent EMR systems would be beneficial - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, including children - Certification in areas such as basic life support is preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Fayetteville, NY 13066 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
