Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionParadigm Consulting Engineers is seeking a full-time mechanical designer or engineer.QualificationsProficient in AutoCAD and/or RevitAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers and clientsAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of MEP systems and building constructionWorking knowledge of International Mechanical Code and ICC Building CodesJob DutiesPerform heating and cooling load calculations utilizing Carrier HAP and/or Trane Trace. Interpret applicable building codes and standards. Design commercial and industrial air distribution systems. Design commercial and industrial hydronic heating and cooling systems. Specify mechanical equipment and systems. Produce design drawings, sketches, and schedules utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit. Prepare written project specifications. Review submittals and shop drawings. Perform engineering field activities, including surveying existing conditions and construction observation. Coordinate work with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, and electrical.
