Borg Design, a 50-person precision CNC machine shop in Hudson, MA, is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support our aerospace and high-specification manufacturing work.This role is responsible for first articles, drawing and GD&T review, revision control, material and special process certification review, contract and flow-down requirement review, supplier documentation, mechanical assembly verification, and support of our AS9100 quality system.The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, preferably in CNC machining, aerospace, precision machined components, or mechanical assemblies. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but strong hands-on quality, inspection, or manufacturing engineering experience will also be considered.Key experience should include complex mechanical drawings, GD&T, AS9102 first articles, AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems, material certs, customer specifications, supplier certs, and practical problem-solving on the shop floor.
